Welcome to the class blog for Matua Jay's Science class.  

Our class blog is a vibrant interactive online space for us to share ideas through collaborative discussion forums.  It's important to remember the Smart Relationship values when commenting on our blog and our peer's blogs.   In practice, that means the first part of your comment should be something positive you notice in the blog post.  Then you add something helpful.  You could add some more information that adds to the post or ask a question.  Finally, you need to add something thoughtful in your blog post that shows you read their post.  Can you make a connection, does what you read remind you of something?  Have a look at the image below to help you think about how you should respond.  

Remember it's always a good idea to draft comments first in a Google Doc, then check your grammar and spelling before posting your comment.   Below are some sentence starters you could use to help you draft your blog comment.
